Can anyone help me find parts?

Hi just thought I would ask I found a really cool rare Hoover Connie and it needs a motor and also the top plate for the bag. Eventually I want to find a hose and attachments but my question is will a model 82 connie motor fit a 85? I can also strip and repaint the 82's bag holder top to and use that since it is missing on this model 85. Any help would be appriciated or if anyone finds a set of original tools to a model 84 in white please let me know. Sincerley Sam

Hi Sam! Congrats on a beautiful model 85! That's probably my favorite model of the Constellation. Yes, the motors are interchangable, and you will be able to use the middle piece/bag holder from a model 82 or 84, painted or not, and it will work as a bag support.

I recently came across a Model 84 (see my thread a ways down the vintage forum) It's exterior is in rough shape, but it runs and it's complete.
