I have an Electrolux Grand Marquis I got at Habitat. The hose is stiff and I think I heard the rubber inside has gone bad. But recently I heard someone talk about resealing them.

I was honestly going to donate it back recently because I never really use it. But I think it's too nice to donate really. It has all the attachments except somebody had taken the floor brush and non-electric wands before I bought it.

It's a nice looking vacuum other than the hose. I just found it heavy and a bit loud. But I can tell it's very well built.

I agree with compactc9guy. Just get a vinyl hose and be done with it. That's definitely your best bang for the buck with the least hassle.
