Hi all. WHo hear is also a Filter Queen nut. I think there great. I would love to see some pictures of the machines. Does anybody have a vintage manual that they could post. Any thing would help. I really want a older one. Anybody have one? AGain I would love to see a manual.

I don't own a Filter Queen but growing up my mom had 2 of them. The first was from the early 50s and the 2nd one was early 70s. She used both of them up until the day she died in 2001. Unfortunately my sister tossed the oldest one when she was cleaning out the house and she took the newer one for her own use.

Filter Queen

I have two Majestic Triple Crown machines. I think they are very nice vacuums except the later model Power Nozzles leave something to be desired. (Bad edge cleaning and poorly built IMO). I particularly like using them to clean the basement and my car because they don't waste bags.

Filter Queens...

I have two Majestic Triple Crown machines. I love them for cleaning out cars and for straight suction use. I don't care to use them with their power nozzles. IMO the later model power nozzles have poor edge cleaning and are made very cheap.

A few of my friends who own vacuums shops keep a Filter Queen under their work bench to clean out dust, etc. from vacuums they repair. (They like the fact that Filter Queens don't waste bags and can hold a lot of dirt without loosing a lot of suction).

My only Filter Queen is this old original model still working beautifully and when tested with Daves vacuum gauge it had the strongest suction of all we tested it against...it beat my Canadian Electroluxes, Daves USA Electroluxes. Only my AirWay came close

Cool Logan again. I had one but i traded it in on a d3 but im going to trade it back. I think there a great vacuum. But mine didnt have the like textured power nozzle mine was just flat. That must me a late model.

NO I DONT!!!!!!!! I just think its to much work to get all the water and everything out when you vacuum everyday. we have two shelties and if we dont vacuum everyday sometimes twice a day we have tumble weeds. But when I still had it you could pull it out and go right to work.

MY Filterqueens!!

here they are...on the left, my mid 70's model 700 and on the right my favourite....1939 Canadian model 200A..this one was a specialty model and the very first Filterqueen. It is entirely chrome and was only available as a prize to the top sales person of that time :a beautiful vac, and it runs as good as it looks.

WOW BRAD

Wow Brad that machine looks great.Did you have a shocker yet. The first time I used the majestic triple crown. We were using a rainbow at the time. I filled up te whole bin with pet hair when we only have bare floors. I just cant compare the two.

Filter Queens have an unfair advantage in Suck-O-Meter compa

A older Filter Queen in decent repair easily pulls 80" plus. Nothing else comes close except a Compact, which uses the same motor and fans.

Of course this does not include modern plastic high rpm screamers which regularly pull 100" plus. But oh, the noise that hurts the ears and the inflexible plastic hoses that fight you at every turn and torque at every stretch (inspect a modern China power hose and you'll find a length of common lamp cord running the length allright - loose inside the hose's airstream).

yes

I actually think that my 1978 F/Q model 700 is more versatile and filters the air better than my Miele...hmmmmmm,, I have to say the timeless design of the F/Q and the cone cyclonic action in essence has really not changed very much since the Filter queens came out in 1939.The vac really does prove itself.I paid $1100 for my Miele Soalrus Electro plus... and although it is a very powerful, very quiet, well enginered vac,I feel that I like my F/Q model 700 that I paid $50 for has more value. When I look at this from a price vs value, the F/Q wins hands down. (in my situation and my experience of using and owning both machines)

Filter Queen

The only Filter Queen I have is a model 350 from the early 50's, but I do enjoy using it. I have the original attachments and hose, but I use a replacement hose with it because the original leaks like a sieve!
