I Think I will start from the begining. Ever since I can remember, In our house growing up my mom had a panasonic canister but there was always this extra dust brush that I dont even know where it came from, And my mom said whenever I asked her what she had before the panasonic she would say a small, cheap, blue, straight suction kenmore canister, so I acepted that, until recently (about a year ago) when I started trying to find out which model she had and after showing her several pictures of various styles of economy model kenmores she did not think that any of them were what she had. But more recently I showed her a eureka canister that I had found (that is a whole other story) that was red and she said it looked more like the "kenmore" she thought she had so we determined that it was really a eureka that she had. And that mystery dust brush any one who colects vacuums could easily identify as a eureka tool. So now on to the point of this extremely long post (if you are reading this, sorry you had to sit through this whole thing) We got back from a two week vacation on tuesday and waiting for me at the georgetown vacuum center was a low end, blue, beat up eureka canister with almost all the tools that someone had droped there for me, but the switch had fallen into the machine itself and the pedal is missing but I figured I would take the pedal of of the red one I have, after all my mom said that this eureka IS the one she had so it has more sentimental value to me. So today I was taking it apart to find the switch so I could put the pedal on (anyway the red one is useless because the bag latch is broken) and to my dissapointment the motor sounds literally worse than bad. So if ANYONE out there has a spare 1983, six amp motor for a model 3320 b that works properly or a donor vacuum with the same motor I would be SO grateful for one. I have every vacuum my mom has ever owned in my collection and they all work exept for this one, so any help would be GREATLY apreciated.
