Hey guys, does anybody know how to take apart a BVC TURBINET three? As currently the electrical cord is coming out of the blower port and I’m not entirely fond of that as it prevents use of the blower port, this is about as far as I’ve gotten and I’m not sure where to continue from here I have not taken apart anything internally

Pic

If you look at the pic it has 1 & 2.
1 is taking off the top bolt or screw. It will seperate on the line shown. This should make top half of the motor. 2 is other screws that might attach lower housing and bearing and a fan.

Yes

Those are the screws. It's geese off the bearing. It's not bad it means the bearing is sealed or it needs greased. Just know grease is flammable. I cut off a bearing attached with rivets. I cut through the rivets and it caught on fire.

Honestly it looks like the WHOLE top part, or motor housing / fan case is one big casting. You might have to remove the fan blades first, and then solution might present itself.

Ah ok,

Although all I’m trying to do is to change the cord from where it’s coming out of has I’ve always had issues with it coming out of the blower port, Although I have a feeling it is not one large casing, as you can see there is a small gap Where the motor housing meets the last separator for the last fan stage

Great news I got it apart

Bad news, on one motor wire the insolation has crumbled, the other one appears to Be protected with a PVC sheath that was already on the motor The one in yellow is the one that’s protected by the PVC sheet the other one is the one that would need to be replaced

I was right though, it looks like you took the blades and armature out. It still looks like one big casting. Also, I spy some weird adapters on that electric cord. I take it you were able to finagle something?
