Brush Roll strips

Anybody know if any other Brush strips from other manufacturers are compatible with the Hoover convertible U4169 that uses the metal brush roll.
One thing I did find out is the Bearings are the same as ones used in the Wind tunnel and Panasonic up right MC5100 Models.
 
You could try Eureka VGII strips, I did on two of my Hoover Junior brushrolls (see pic), and the performance of the brushroll changed dramatically, though I don't know how the brushroll is constructed on the Convertible/Senior models, but I'm guessing it's similar... :)

And I have heard that the Red Sebo strips (if you cut them to fit) also work well, so another easy-to-obtain option there... :D
