Hi,
Does anyone know where I could find a complete brush roll assembly for my 1980 Sears Best Powermate Canister? I looked on Sears Parts Direct and EBay and nothing...Is another brushroll manufacturer compatible? I'm thinking a rainbow might be a match by what I'm seeing on EBay but not 100% sure.
I'm having issues with the brushroll. I changed the belt, with a genuine 5281 Kenmore belt, checked the powermate motor and everything seems fine but the brush is barely spinning....the end caps are loose but I tried to tighten everything but nothing....not sure what happened as everything was working fine...hmmmm
