Brand new Sentria 2

Well I got it. A rarely used Kirby Sentria 2. The brush roll and belt look brand new and the bag is empty. The wheels look great along with the outer bag. Emtor is as clean as I have ever seen. The previous owner says they might be able to find the hose but that is all that is missing besides a wand. Not bad for $125 and I can get a hose locally for $30 and haven't even checked online yet. These are much lighter compared to the older ones. The last Kirby I used was a Heritage 1 red bag and it needed some TLC. Where is the best place to get Kirby parts and accessories from?

Excellent Choice!! You beat me to listing this eBay Seller! I bought about 10 parts, bags and belts from this seller, for my own Sentria 2 and all were very cheaply priced and shipped fast and brand new in sealed bags as advertised!

Thanks for the recommendation Bud! Shae, I highly recommend this eBay seller too for all Kirby parts as well. I had looked online at many places, even Amazon and many of the online stores I’d purchased parts from before, but this “KirbyFans” is a great place to buy Kirby parts and supplies. Good luck finding what you need, but last I checked they carry almost every single part for the Sentria 2.. just make sure you specify the Sentria 2 as the color is different than the Sentria of course. Also, please post pictures when you can.. WOW it sounds like your Sentria 2 is Brand New for you being the second owner.

Ok guys, This is just incredible. I try to keep a somewhat clean home but 4 cats a dog and 2 kids keep cleanliness at bay most days. Amazingly I dont really have a issue with pet hair. I dont see any tumble weeks and its never clogged any vacuum I have used. I did end up getting the Rainbow extended basin and that has helped some with how often I dump the water. Now to the incredible part. This Kirby bag was empty yesterday and now its about 1/10 full. I just did a once over in the living room and den to see how she worked. A really love the way it grooms the carpets. As I said before the vacuum must have only been used for attachments or something was wrong because the dirt you see in the pics on the brush roll was from me. The belt has some wear but not bad. It still has the ridges on the inside. They are going to bring me the hose next week but Im missing a wand. It did come with an extra wall and ceiling brush in black so they must have owned at least a newer Kirby or something at some point. Also I found an extra belt around the dusting brush so thats need.

Nice machine. I got a Gsix at Goodwill a few years ago that had seen similar use. The accessories showed noticeable wear but the nozzle and brush roll were in pristine condition. It was a bargain for $50. It sort of makes me wonder why the original owner chose that particular machine.

Congratulations Shae on your fantastic (like brand new) Kirby Sentria 2! You will find it is great at deep cleaning carpeting and does an excellent job removing pet hair. The Sentria 2 is my personal favorite so I’m happy you found one in such excellent condition. Thanks for sharing your pictures and keep us informed how much you enjoy using it and the results you find using a Kirby.

I’ve shown them on this site before, but like a proud parent, I will take any chance to show off my beautiful vacuum cleaners and this Kirby Sentria 2 is visually my favorite. The main reason I bought it over the current model at that time, the Kirby Avalir was the color scheme! I’m not a fan of Red and if the Avalir 2 in Black and Blue had been available, I might have had a tough time deciding.. but I’m SO glad I got the Sentria 2 in the beautiful tan and teal colors!

Wow!!!! HonestJoe68 is that a buffed finish? It looks really shiny and absolutely fantastic. I took a microfiber cloth to mine just to clean it up and she looks great. I do have a few questions though...

What exactly is the difference between the Kirby microallergen bags and the plus bags? CFM difference?

Is the best way to set the height for carpet is to lower it until you hear the brush contact the carpet and go 1 click lower?

Today I received the hose and wand that they misplaced before I bought it. They were all in perfect condition which adds to the fact that I don't think this machine was ever used but once ot twice with attachments only. This thing out performs my Rainbow by an almost infinite amount. So much so that I feel like all the good things you hear about them got me thinking my Rainbow might be broke or something. It's that amazing.
