Randomly decided to search Craigslist and came across a guy down state selling his NIB concept 2. For the price I had to jump on it and drove the 50 minutes to go pick it up. This is going to go right on ebay. I've had a concept two before and prefer my concept one with cord winder. But hopefully it will make someone really happy

*drools*

I have never seen the box for one of those! I knew they had to come fully assembled (as the wire for the power drive cable runs down the entire machine), but I never would have guessed they'd attempt slim packaging to save space. It's like a guitar box!

I like the Concept II. Obviously excellent performance, and the built-in Help-Mate was cool, and did a decent job. Heavy, and fully loaded.

Amazing find. If you do list on ebay please post a link or let us know. I can't wait to watch the bidding on this piece of history.

Yes it was very clever and somewhat green too. I'm sure they didn't give two shits about being green though.

Well it's on eBay now for $1,000, which may seem steep but considering what I've seen other lesser model NIB hoover go for I don't think its that bad. There was a NIB DAM that went for $700 something, Plus it's going to cost me fortune to ship anywhere.

I do let people pay me in installments for higher priced vacs, and then ship it once they've paid off. So basically lay away.
