I picked up a few deals this last black Friday, a eureka airspeed one and a new Kenmore bagged upright. I will mostly be focusing on the Kenmore for the sake of this thread as it is a very new model.

If you picked up any black Friday vacuums please share!

I an very happy with this machine so far. It is very light weight, yet very sturdy feeling. It has a very long cord and useful tools, plus the hepa filter is fairly well sealed. In use it grooms and cleans well and is not too noisy. And it has several nice touches that you don't see very much on lower end vacuums anymore, such as the bag full indicator and the cool LED headlight. It's only real downfalls are that the hose is very short and I have not figured out how to source spares yet as none appear available online.

Looks nice, glad you like it! What do you think of the Airspeed One? I was considering buying one eventually...

This is actually my second airspeed one as I bought one also when they first came out. I bought this machine for two reasons, I wanted the turbo tool and that my other one has a very shaky brushroll that vibrates a lot when on hard floors or in tool mode and I was hoping it was just a growing pain for a new model. To be honest though I haven't had a chance to unbox the new one yet due to a very stressful school project this last week but when I do I will let you know if they fixed the aforementioned problem. As for the machine itself it is very light and fairly solid if assembled right. It cleans carpets and hard floors very well due to its long bristles and rubber strip behind the brush. Hose suction is good too and because it's dual cyclonic the filter does not need cleaning very often. It does have some problems, the main one is the lack of any micro filter of any sort. The only filter is a thick foam pad, and while I don't think it filters any worse than say a hoover convertible it certainly isn't good. Then there is the matter of noise as I said above. All that said I do like it and believe for the price it is a good buy if it's flaws can be overlooked.
