i was at Sean Surry's the other day enjoying his company playing with vintage vacuums and looking at old penneys catalogs. towards the end of the day i saw something that screamed "this needs a black and white of it" because of the lighting

it's titled " the surgical setting"

as sort of an inside joke. seans lamp providing the coincidental dramatic light on the brightest setting he calls the surgical setting. you could read the neighbors newspaper with it.
