I had one of these when I was a kid. I found this one at a thrift store. The bearings screamed so decided to take it apart and give them some lube. Its a Johnson motor with a rear sleeve bearing and front ball bearing. I serviced them and now it runs beautifully and is surprisingly powerful for a handvac. The fan is one piece and unscrews off the motor like an early kirby fan.

Vacuette

The vacuum might be the kirby vacuette sister vacuum. The douglas busy bee, douglas ardvark, sears powermate?, There are a few others. I'm sure you are aware of what I just said. The sears one I have iirc has a red plaid bag. There's an orecks version too.
I don't have the ardvark but I do have the busy bee. They are nice little hand vacuums.

Sometime thats all that is needed to make em run like new again good job can i see a full assemble picture of her?

I have one too, and the motor is so bad you wouldn't believe it can still run. When I first switched it on, I dropped it because my lights flickered and the sheer noise from the motor startled me, thought the thing was gonna blow.

The way they designed it is virtually identical to the Regina Dirt Magnet.

They sold these through Fingerhut and TV infomercials in 1992.
