Bissell ProHeat is just WOW!

So I shampooed a friends carpet, vacuumed with a Dirt Devil MVP first which i do have to
Say is a TERRIFIC vacuum. Really beats the carpet. Anyways the pro heat did a terrific job on the berber carpet. It works great. After about 30-40 mins the carpet was dry as a bone. The attachments were great also. So tell me about your expierience. And if you want a review of my Dirt Devil MVP I just got feel free to ask.

I have a Bissell pro heat x2 , its the best carpet machine I have ever owned and I had a carpet cleaning busines for a while , with rug docters and a huge truck mount. My Dad bought the business from me a while back and even he is amazed at the Bissel proheat. it has come along way sinse the first models

I just love everything about it! How do you like the tools gsheen?

I do like the attachments allot , especially the crevice tool as I like to keep my cars acrpets really clean.


 


One complaint though is that the water never seems to get as hot in attachments mode as it does on carpet mode, I have noticed this on a few of them. I wonder if it is not due to the solution hose been inside the suction hose and the air and sucked up water rushing over it cooling it down.

Hmm.

Not to sure really, it is possible. But I havn't used the crevice tool yet.

Have they improved the bladder system on the Pro-heat. My nephew and his wife have one of the older models and it leaked like grandpa at the brewery. When you used the accessories the brushes kept turning and would leave wet spots and scrub marks all over where it set.

Then there is the part where the heater kept clogging up, and the pump drive would break and, well I just hope they have improved.

Now the Bissell cannisters were great. I still have a Big-Green Clean Machine that I bought in 1992 that still cleans like a pro.

I have a big green two , two of them infact, they are great, the new proheat brushes switch off when in the upright position, bladder is great , the heater will clog if you have to much minrals in your watter or if you use the wrong chem.


we gaet the new big green canister in all the time for that , now that machine was a big dissapiontment , the old one would suck circles around it

I wonder

For those who do have hard water, if when finished using the pro heat, if you fill it with vinegar and water to flush it out if that would prevent clogging of the heater?

That Pro heat 2 is the cleaner that I picked up the other day. The jets are clogged up. I works fine except for the sprayers.  I had stopped by my friends vacuum store and he was working on one then cleaning out the jets, so I watched and learned!

Distilled water

Hi all I live in California in the bay area and use tap water in my Bissel but wondered for those in other places about using distilled water. I use distilled in my Shark floor steamer and its about $1.25 a gallon at the store you would just have to warm it up some first.

This is me using mine, its a fantastic machine, what amazez me is that if I vacuum the carpet with my Kirby sentria and then use the bissell it pulls even more pet hair off the carpet, it even does it after I have used my dyson dc27 but not as much fur left behind as with the Kirby.


 


I love the dual brush rollers


we use it almost ever day considering the amount of animals we have aswell as my two sons.


 


Its great to use in our showroom as well, keeps the light colored carpet in great condition
