How good are these Bissell extractors performance-wise?

How much water lift do they produce? Some had two-speed vacuum motors but did the 'HI' speed extract more water better than the single speed models?

How strong is the spray pressure?

I only had a Power Steamer mdl #1631 (the one that has a water supply hose that connects onto a faucet) but it quit yrs ago

I have the Bissell proheat 2x. It's in my opinion the best extractor under $250.
Specs such as waterlift are useless.
My shop vac has more waterlift than my rainbow extractor. It probably has more than my proheat. Yet rainbow and proheat do a far better job.
If you go to Amazon look up the reviews. The reviews will give you an idea of which is best for you.

I believed they probably worked pretty well. Suction on most of these was very strong and with the nozzle design it picked up very well. The later models with the Power Brush attachment I was told did not pick up as well. Same thing with the Kenmore machines with regular nozzle vs Spraymate.

You notice almost nobody makes these tank style carpet cleaners for the US anymore, I think it was more of a convenience thing that everyone went to upright style cleaners. Easier to set up than having to connect the suction and solution hoses and drag around the heavy tank with water in it. Plus takes up less space to store.

Bissell does still sell one smaller canister carpet cleaner, the Big Green Complete. I've been told it was actually discontinued and reintroduced a few times over the years.

When I first joined VL, there were actually some of those classic Bissell cleaners still being sold under the Rubbermaid name as a commercial cleaner. Different colors but basically the same as the old Big Greens and other round units. There's a thread on here if you do a search, somebody bought one at the time (2012 or so).

I have a couple in attic similar to reply 1.Also the rectangular version with storage for wands at rear.Some with boxes.Also the RARE SC that was almost a museum piece for styling.Bissell was known for award winning style at this time but quality,performance and longevity are a different matter.Any interest in these??They will GO SOON in vac store clean out!!
