Did you think the height adjuster looks like a hood ornament?Did you notice the dirt pan cover opens like a car hood?Do you think the rear corners look like tail fins?Should some of these materials be on the dash of a Motorama show car?Did you know that Harley Earl did more than just General Motors??

I found one of these at an estate sale in Kansas City about two weeks ago along with a U4003 in the same house. I thought it looked very much like a classic car. I Googled it and I was surprised to learn that Bissell won a design award in 1954 for the Sweepmaster.
