Well took a trip, didn’t find the bison I’m exactly looking for, needed way to much work. Would have been near impossibly to have peiced back together. Not sure if anyone is interested in selling a bison, also wasn’t able to get my 65, they weren’t wanting to sell it. Even tho that was what we talked about that I was interested in. Just a long shot if anyone has an extra of one of these three machines.

Thanks guys

"--doesn't want to part with stuff?--"

WRONG!
I would like to part with about 90% of the vac stuff.I did say I would keep some vacs as part of a much smaller collection.I have decided that for myself (and much of America over several decades)2 of the best choices are Hoover uprights and Electrolux tanks.I have 1 1/2 Mo 65s(pink & gold)as well as original hose and attachments that I would like to make one good Convertible from.I DID part with 3 early Convertibles that were my best leaving me with lesser ones.
I have 3 Bisons with 2 rug nozzles,1 polisher & no hose that could make at least one very nice one.We verified that 2 of the motor and fan units work great.
Some vacs that I wish to keep ZERO of are pre Generation Kirbys(I can sell newer ones to my walk in customers)Compacts,Sunbeam,Kenmore of 70s-80s and MORE.
Some vacs that I wish to keep VERY FEW of include AirWay,Lewyt,Kenmore of 50s- 60s,GE,Westinghouse,hand vacs, commercial vacs and MORE.

Well I wasn’t pointing any fingers, it was a nice trip out there. I think both of our ideas of vacs that are pristine and in good shape are alittle different, there would have been some stray very hard to find parts needed for the bisons to make the run properly. I was a tad bit upset because I went the 1300 miles round trip with in mind the model 65 would come home with me, because that’s what we did talk about originally, the bisons and the model 65. But we did finish up with some good BBQ! Really wish we can work something out with that 65 tho!!

I do understand conditions that could range from parts machine to new in box but with 100s of vacs I do not have every condition in every model. The Bisons are rare in any condition.I may have a very few more misc parts and should even have an original can of Bison Wax.When we spoke on phone I thought there might have been 2 1/2 pink 65s instead of the 1 1/2 we saw.I may also find the handle assy for the 1/2 pink but not for the 1/2 gold.Just as I am holding a particular 80s canister for a collector I can now hold any 65s that do not go in my SMALLER collection(I have pink box, hose & atts that I would like to use myself) for you.Perhaps on your next trip to visit in SC.
