Does anyone know anything about those 90's BIG POWER Vacs from Italy? I recently acquired one and would like to know some more info.

The big purple beast?

Is yours like my purple one? I don’t have a huge amount of background info on it…I want to like this vacuum but it’s such a pain to clean. On the suction knob 1 and 2 is suppose to be for air filtration, it does not have a brushless motor though so it’s not designed for continuous operation. 3 and 4 is for regular vacuuming. 5 and 6 is suppose to be for wet extraction, starting with an empty bucket. You aren’t suppose to use it for vacuuming because water will splash up into the filters on the higher setting. Have you used yours…what are you thoughts about it?

For the past ten years the Big Power has had a separator, is much lower to the ground, and has done away with all those baffles. It's as easy to clean as a Rainbow.
