Hello, I have a Oreck XL upright and a shopvac brand wet/dry vacuum. The shopvac is almost new 6.5 hp 10 gallon. I spent some time getting an answer from shopvac cust service to find out that they dont make any nozzle with a roller brush,it was worth finding out for sure. I like both the oreck xl and the new shopvac,but I want a basic no frills vacuum that has the power to vacuum fine particles off outdoor carpeting(like baking soda),that is easier and quicker to use-because IT HAS a roller brush in nozzle to loosen and help scoop up debris. A new machine. I also would like some input as to whether a canister is better than an upright. If I could find an aftermarket wand and nozzle with a roller brush installed that would fit my shopvac, I would go that way for sure,as long as it was worth the money.Any helpful suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you!!!!!

It is a 2 motor light weight machine with a serious brush roll & is bagged. It has been written about on this site before & praised highly. This price is outstanding. I bought one and am simply amazed at the value.

What size wands does the shop vac use? If the TurboCat will fit, then this is the best solution. The type of dirt that finds itself in outdoor carpeting clogs vacuum bags quickly, and new cyclonic vacuums are expensive.

You should be aware that most manufacturers advise not to use their vacuum cleaners outdoors or on wet surfaces as this can create a shock hazard. You can only use a wet-dry vac that is designed to be used outdoors. That being said, indeed an air-driven turbo nozzle may be the best solution for your situation. You can probably get an adapter to make any turbo nozzle fit the wand of your Shop Vac.

U can use any power nozzle for your Shop Vac & extension cord to plug in the PN to wall outlet.
