It has been a while since I posted here. I feel as if there are only so many creative VacuumLand post ideas. But as 2025 is coming to a close, I was wondering what were the best and worst Vacuum Cleaner releases of 2025? From actual good machines to unreliable ones.

Off the top of my head I don’t remember tons of new vacuum releases. I think the “best” in my opinion was the new Kirby. Another one I thought was interesting was the pencil vac thing by Dyson.

Dare I say it....the Dyson V16. Talk about a vacuum that was released WAY TOO EARLY! The powerhead needs improvement, no fluffy head, and the motor unit/cyclones DEFINITELY stand to be improved! This is one vacuum I think most people will be best to wait till the next generation V16 comes out.

Funny but the only thing saving the Miele Guard L1 from being declared the worst new vacuum introduced for 2025 was the even more horrible Diesoon V16. The crowd at Miele should by the Diesoonians beers for saving them from otherwise certain ignominy.

As for the best new vacuum I am torn between the Kenmore BC4030 and its Hair Removal Nozzle, which is pretty clever and the canister now claiming to be sealed HEPA, or the new colors for Sebo uprights and canister models.

Don't know if this particular one came out this year but it was for certain the worst vacuum I've used this year, perhaps of all time.

I also had a chance to use a NSS Swiftvac 6 that I'm not sure if it came out this year either but it was for certain the best vacuum I've used this year.

In the premium category, the new Miele canisters are the worst of 2025, ultimately demonstrating a quality decline! I would say that the black Sebo G4 is one of the best of 2025, looks rather sophisticated.
