I picked this up the other day. I love the design and the details of it. I'm guessing that it is the floor polisher brush roll? What do the regular brush roll look like? One of the wheels is broken.

I does work...Surprisingly, there was no dirt or debris in the bag. Ready for a deep clean for sure.

I will put it out there, if anyone has a back wheel or regular brush roll, I'd be happy to buy it from you.

Nice classic vintage Eureka!

But…I could never understand how Eureka’s “floor waxing brushroll” system worked. If you could not somehow block off the suction, how could the fan and motor survive being splattered with sticky floor wax after even just one session of floor polishing? Has always been something of a mystery to me…

Spare D272

I have a D272 that I got so I could use the handle on an incomplete Model M. It still has the brush roll and back wheels. Let me know if you are interested and willing to pay for shipping from California.

Hi Luxlife! Yes indeed…the Automatic also offered a waxer brush roll. Still can’t figure out how the floor wax did not damage the suction motor, not to mention carpets when the upright was converted back to carpet cleaning.
