baking seems like a Sunday thing now.

So, when I came home from church, I changed sheets, made a pan of brownies, 4 dozen Toll House cookies, zucchini breads, 6 banana nut breads, and potato chip cookie dough.
The weather is beautiful, lots of Vitamin D. The house smells great. Still not sure where the ambition came from, but................

It was so warm and sunny,

The exhaust fan was on and my neighbor mentioned the great smell outside. And, I but a stick of butter on the windowsill to 'soften'. It softened, right out of the window, completely melted.
Oh, well...............

I have a great recipe from "Peggy", the housekeeper from the rectory, yrs ago.
She's the one who taught me how to make those notorious pepper cookies.
The house smells great.
