YES, you have read the title most correctly.

Seems like Miele and Bosch have been sleeping together. Tell tale clues are the Bosch suction tubes.

Being the ex-owner of a Bosch vacuum I can see a few similarities here. Nice design though!

That's amazing! It looks better than any other bagless canister I have seen. It also have certain solid quality look to it.
My guess is that Miele did this just because the bagless vacuums are so hugely popular and Miele lost ALOT customers and profit making just a bagged vacuums.
It's apparently single cyclone system, but if it's done right it can be very good.

I'm not sure I'd go down the bagless line as I'm very happy with my C3.
But it looks interesting :-)

Looks amazing I hope they do a model with a remote control on the handle and a powerhead model.

Single cyclonic.

I have to say, I'm very disapointed. Miele have spent years flogging their bagged machines and stuck to their guns that bags are better. Regardless of opion on bagged vs. bagless, I've lost respect for Miele for not sticking with that they believe in. This is like Dyson coming out with a bagged machine!

It looks like a very big capacity, and is disappointed it's a single cyclone but wait and see, but in design it looks amazing looks very modern. And I wonder when this will be released

How does variable power work with cyclones? When you lower the power the centrifugal force will also be weaker meaning the dirt won't be thrown out of the air?

Bosch's bagless cylinders have had variable suction for quite a while though, as have Morphy Richards with their Vorticity vacs and those before them.

Im neutral about this Miele - after all, they have already done the bagless route via the robotic vacuum, so this new vac seems to me to be just another alternative.

Yes I have nothing against it. If they were to replace bagged for bagless that would be another matter.

Variable power is something that the multi cyclonic vacuums very rarely have. Small cyclones have to have very accurate airflow in them. Otherwise cyclonic action is disturbed and it can clog the small cyclones. For example Dyson doesn't have any model with the variable power. In single cyclonic vacuums (like this Miele apparently is) variable power is much more popular. Of course it weakens the cyclonic action also in these. It just isn't so crucial.
For me this new bagless Miele is very welcome surprise.
