One of the nicest things about the ultra captic, is the filtration system. Virtually all the dust is spun into the bin. Unlike Dyson's design, the first cyclone is extremely fast and captures far more fine dust. The 10 high efficiency cyclones spin their fine dust into a separate chamber that much be emptied (and rinsed) once every six months. The pre-motor filter is VERY well made, and in almost six months of use in my home (once a week or so), it has no dirt on it at all. The HEPA filter after the motor is the washable one, so there should not be any on-going costs. All in all, I like the Ultra Captic more than any of the Dyson canisters. The power nozzle is better, and the filtration system is better. The suction is just as powerful as Dyson. And I like the Electrolux's handle controls and very quiet operation.

It just arrived last night here at my main house, so I'm about to open the box and put it together. I think I'll try it out to see how it does under the beds--not really the best test, since its canister competition here is a Kenmore (which is why I need to upgrade to a better bagged canister here; I love my Riccar upright but it can't do everything).
