I know!!! This is such a fascinating chapter of the history of Eureka Williams - and I was born in 1959 too!!!

I guess we vaclovers should all be driving vintage Henney Kilowatts....the world's first electric car... :-D

You must not know much about automotive history, there was the Baker Electric in the teens.

No...I do not know much about the history of the automobile. I had no idea there was a battery-powered electric car at the beginning of the century. Very interesting.

I was just wandering in my own mind, and asked a question. 


 


Do you think the people that were fortunate enough to be able to purchase one of these early vacuums whined "Oh-it's just too heavy, I'd rather use the broom."?


 


I know, in those days those that were affluent enough to own a vacuum, usually had staff to use them.  But there will always be whiners.
