Arnold the Interstate Engineering Corp canister vac

It was made by the Interstate Engineering Corp. It is old. I have named it Arnold. That is literally all I know about this vacuum cleaner that I just picked up. I am off to do some research on it. I keep telling myself I have enough canister vacuums.

1952 Compact C-2 by Interstate.
This was the very second model of Compact (company would later change the name to Tri-Star in 1982) and was the first widely available model to the world. There as another one in blue sold in Vacuum stores called Revelation. Same vacuum but Compact was door to door and Revelation was in stores.
