I saw that!

They look quite good but there is alot to go wrong in that in 5 or so years.
Otherwise a pretty cool vacuum

Seems...lazy to me

Self propelled canisters...an interesting idea but it just seems lazy it lacks a power nozzle so it must be mostly for bare floors which are even easier for vacuums to roll across.

It looks like the design is meant to keep the canister moving with the user, and yet not bump into the user like the new Hoover Constellation used to do. The computer on board seems to be programmed to maintain a certain optimum distance between the canister and the user.

See this corporate video below (it's a little "high-falutin" if you ask me, but it probably was originally scripted in Korean - hence the dry English voice-over):

Vacuumfreeeke - the Kompressor is just a mechanical system that circles inside the round dust bin and shapes dust into chunks, thus "compressing the dust" into sizeable chunks that can then be disposed. It's a good idea for those into cubism, but nothing short of a gimmick, even if it does suggest longer term filling of the bin and less emptying. LG have a few videos about it:

but then in real time watching an owner with their LG Kompressor you can see that it's not exactly the same:

I saw the video of their Kompressor upright on HSN, but I've never used it myself.... does it reduce the dust coukds that are typical with bagless vacuums?

I had a compressor cylinder. It was a nice idea, but as you separated the bin from the cleaner dust would fall. Also the cyclonic system couldn't cope with long alsatian hair.. Great suction though! But more maintenance than a dyson..

I kind of think the 'follow me' idea may be to rival the new dyson ball cylinders.. Who knows!

It's funny how they have a long-ass video for that, but for this one, it's short, sharp and funny, THAT'S advertising... :P
