Hi 31463221

Just to add to your temptation...
I calculated the Postage (USPS) @
10 lbs...30 x 12 x 12 inches
Lubbock to Frenchburg...$24.44 (Ground)

I get lots of stuff off Craigslist, and
all of it needs to be shipped to get here.
Most people a very accommodating, especially
if I throw in a few more bucks for their trouble.

I now own the Silverado

Beings I live in Amarillo I drove to Lubbock and bought the Silverado. I finished with servicing the motor.
I'm surprised it still ran. The top suction fan was completely shattered and it had the wrong size of carbon brushes. I fortunately had the parts it needed on hand so with a thorough cleaning it works good now. I'm sure I'll get some good use out of it. The brushroll looks like it might need replaced.

Nathan!

Good to hear from you! I’m really glad you ended up with that Silverado! If anyone can give it a new lease on life, you’d be the person that could do it! I agree, I’m shocked it was running at all given the shape it was in! I wonder if that was a “handyman” fix on that machine rather than a vac shop doing it...I find it hard to imagine a shop sending it out the door like that!

While I’m thinking about it, did your phone number change? I missed a call from Canyon TX the other day and while I didn’t recognize the number, you were the first person that came to mind! Just wanted to check before I called it back!! Have a GREAT one Nathan, talk to you soon!

Number

Thanks Nathan! I’ve updated it in my contacts! When I got this phone last year, I finally made the switch from android to Apple, and as you can imagine NOTHING was compatible between the two, so I lost most of my contacts!

Those Silverados are amazing machines! I have one I picked up at a goodwill for like $35. It came with everything except the crevice tool. Honestly it looks and runs like it was hardly (if ever) used! Super powerful, and that lovely Electrolux “hum” I have grown up with and love to hear! I hope you had a good Christmas and I hope you have a happy New Year!
