Anyone else think the pre "ball" Dysons had better Bin/Cyclone designs?

The (sloppy launch of) V16 actually does have the best bin design ever, followed closely by PencilVac's. This is because it's like a filter as it is in PencilVac, only without integrated filter in it, and it can be scraped using the dust compression technology. It's also patented more recently, too.

Not sure about the corded models though.
