Until recently I've been using enviro-care bags in my Electrolux Renaissance. I happened to be near an Aerus dealer just a couple weeks ago and decided to pick up a pack of genuine R style bags and I've been using the first bag from the pack since then. I typically use my central vac around the house so this cleaner doesn't get that much use which is why I'm surprised to see this.
After vacuuming up the house a bit this evening I went to check the bag and noticed this small hole near the bottom of the bag, along with a line of cat hair and dust hanging out of it. Of course now the machine's exhaust area is dustier than usual, and I'm wondering if anyone else has had these issues with their bags. I plan to contact Aerus tomorrow.
These aren't the four-ply bags, these are "ultra filtration" and supposedly four times better than the 4 ply version. It really is no where near full, maybe 1/5th full.
