Anyone else have one of these?

I bought this at Goodwill years ago for $8 and it has been through three families (I loaned it to them and had to pretty much steal it back lol) and was heavily used and abused by all. While going through my piles of vacuums months ago I decided to donate it to the car lot I work for part time... This machine has truly amazed me at how well it performs in a commercial setting. It vaccums up pounds of sand from the carpet that is always a high traffic area and gets used by tons of different people but yet it still holds up. Just wondering if anyone else has used one of these and been impressed by its durability. I don't recall many more LG vacuums being made after the Compressor line.

There was one at the vac shop reapir-trade in pile-tried it----the brushroll motor was shot and the suction motor sounded like bad bearings---into the dumpster it went.also the machine is heavy and cumbersome.The large upper body makes it handle heavy.

I have one and I don't really care for it. I have the LUV300 model I think. It's currently in storage and I cant remember. It does not work very well and it always seems stopped up somewhere. The suction relief valve on the lower left side is always open due to some blockage I cant find.

I must have just gotten lucky...

They obviously stopped making them for some reason. I think the idea was just that, an idea that kinda fizzled out and probably didn't sale well due to the hefty price tag these had. I do see how these could have several clogs that could be hard to find. I recall it clogging several times when it was in a residential setting but was not to hard to get to. I guess since it's used now to vacuum sand from low pile rugs there is less chance of it getting clogged. I do know one thing, it's a lot better than the Bissell easy vac that they had been using.

I tried one

It was a trade in at the local shop, I thought it was pretty nice and I was told i could take it home for $10, and had i had more space i would have.
