Sorry Mike

Rust repair is not in the budget at this time, at least until all the mechanical issues are repaired.

My joke on the Woodward cruise, "If I wanted to drive 5mph while breathing others exhaust I would get on east bound I-94 at 5 o clock".

re; dream cruise

for sure Richard. I don't do it either, but I park near Beaumont Hospital with other Pontiacs. A friends Fiero over heated very badly one cruise from idling too long.

Pontiac... What kind?

Also, thanks for your concern Rugsucker, I may be 16 years old but would never turn it into the pimpmobile. I wont replace the radio or the original wheels, I love them but I either have to find someone to recap (radio term meaning to replace the compacitors) or to find a NOS or working used radio.

Here is a pic of the interior, as per your request. Please ignore the crumbs, we just returned from a trip up north during last Sunday's Northern Michigan snow storm and the weather has not cooperated for me to drag my new Fairfax out to it.

Looooots of companies out there that do retro radios for these so you can have Bluetooth, aux, usb etc hookups and run modern speakers for better sound without adding modifications or any modern looks. VintageSound is one. Tons more though. Great option for people with classic cars who want modern functions for radio but not to remove an original look.

The only way I would change the wheels is for some baby moons but that would be about it if I ever did

Cadillac

Looks good!Great color styling that you don't find on the new cars.(To me nothing looks worse than an otherwise great car with huge wheels, skinny spokes and exposed brake parts.)And it has fender skirts!Auto trivia-I think 75 was the first year for carpeted floor mats.

Sorry Brandon but I just can't stand reproduction anythi

You're right about modern styling and thanks for the trivia fact, I do have the original (rather worn) floor mats.

So as not to hijack this thread further I created a new one explaining the disaster that just happened when I went to vacuum the thing so I could get a few more interior shots. Please feel free to discuss my cadillac there. (I did not realize it would be so popular as to hijack Dustin's thread.)
