I noticed there only seem to be a few die-hard Vorwerk folks up here. I'm getting ready to sell mine, and am curious if any Stateside vac fans have any interest? I neither buy nor sell on ebay, so this is going to be the only place it appears when the time comes!

My vorwek is a VK120, but I have the ET-30 head for it, and it is very nice! Not sure it grooms as well as my ET-340, but the brushroll on the ET-30 is half worn, and the et-340 has brand new brushrolls, but it is nicer to use!

I refurbished mine and kept it rather than selling it on, as it is rather lovely! Used it for a month as part of my 12 vacuums in 12 months series, and would happily daily it once I get a replacement, serviced motor in that I have for it!

What a weird but very cool looking vacuum. I've never heard of vorwerk. What year did they make them? I'm assuming it's some euro brand?

Their Italian I think. Talking to an italian collector when I got mine, their very VERY common over there. Not too common in the UK, a few people have the recent one but their so flipping expensive! Over £2000 for the full kit.

Their like Kirby, a bit niche, people who know them love them, but lots of people who have never heard of them!

I'd not rush to get another tbh, one decent one is good enough (saying that if I see a cheap local one again of a different model of course I'd get it, but that's my illness talking there!

I have always wanted to try a Vorwerk and its attachments-Spotted one at a Star vacuum place-was in their trade in pile. This was back in the 70's Star vacuujm was a vacuum chain store in the DC area at the time. They featured the rows and rows of Royal uprights with the REd or Blue bags-loved the displays!Wasn't collecting at that time-started a short time later.

"always wanted"

I should have several and attachments as this was one of Vorwerks best US sales territories when they were here in about the late 80s.They need to GO!

Vorwerk vk 117/et 30 owners manual

Dear all, as you might have probably seen in my past posts, I love Vorwerk vacuum cleaners!
I thought it would be nice to share quick scans of the vk 117 owner’s manual, last version, sold in Italy from 1980 to 1983. I’m at your disposal for any question about details! I’d reply with much pleasure !!! Greetings to all for now!
