Another new toy!

As per my thread over in Vintage, I left Sweeper Central with one other machine. It's a current commercial model called the Insight. It appears to be a direct competitor to the Sebo/Windsor style machines. Overall, it seems to be built very well. 


 


This one, unfortunately, is not in full working order. It does run, but only for a minute or so. After a minute, it shuts off, and the 3 indicator lights on top of the bag housing glow red. John said that it has a bad circuit board in it, and was traded in because of that. So at the very least this will be a nice machine to look at!

It is a shame, but I knew that right up front. It will make a good project for a rainy day.

Might be as simple as checking the solder on the board and be a simple fix!

The first run of this machine had a lot of issues with the circuit board. They've since changed something with it and supposedly fixed it. Mine is number 1897 off the line, so it's just a baby. One of the first ones. This thing is practically brand new since they just released this model last year.
