Hello, I have a request to have either a hoover model 62 manual posted here or added to the automatic epherma. If anyone here posts on this thread, I'll ask permission before saving posts as in advanced.

Thanks everyone.

No because of the difference in the bagging systems listed in the 62 manual vs the 63 manual but thamk you very much.

Also, I believe the 62 would list a mothimiser in it's manual that the 63's don't.

Thanks again everyone.

Hi Damien,

You're in luck, when I saw your post tonight I asked Fred to check and see if he has this manual and he sure does! Unfortunately its not in perfect condition, so I wont add this file to Automatic Ephemera until we find a better copy to scan, but it's in fine shape otherwise. So whoever would like a free copy simply right click this link and select save target as or save link as (depending on your browser)...

<a href= "http://www.automatice.org/PRODUCTS/SAMPLES/Care_and_Maintenance_of_the_Hoover_Cleaner_Model_62.pdf">Care and Maintenance of the Hoover Cleaner Model 62</a>

I hope this is what you need!

Thank you Robert (and Fred)!!

I've had several of these cleaners over the course of 30 years or so and have never had the manual. It's one of my favorite Hoover uprights and it's fun to see the original book that came with a new 62.

I know how much work scanning and posting these is. The initial scan, cleaning up the pages and imperfections in the file, converting it to .pdf format and finally posting it on a server that we can download it from almost instantly. And FREE!

Thank you again - all your hard work is appreciated!

Thank you very much however I understand there is another part of this manual called making the best use of your hoover cleaning equipment(model 62's) I would also love.
The care and maintence manual is also something I needed.
Thanks again Robert (and Fred) and everyone else.
P.S.I actually own that mothimiser set.

Thank you Robert, Damien and Fred. Very nice pdf, which I'll use as I am looking for either a model 29 or 62. I have an ad here (which I can not delete) asking to buy a Convertible, model 63 to 70. I have a bid on a model 29 thru eBay. Maybe it will go through maybe not. Anyway, thank you all. -Jim
