Benny, I was more refering to the performance. The Contour just didn't cut it like the 600 did, mainly due to quite an underwhelming brushroll and that friction fit ridiculous handle release on the earlier models that ALWAYS broke.
I agree about the Turbo 2 and 1000, apart from the earlier models were prone to the bag door's splitting down the middle, but this issue seemed to be ironed out on the later models.
