VacuumLand – Vintage & Modern Vacuum Enthusiasts

That Richmond is something else. I know you're a Hoover purist but I would've JUMPED at that. Even that Twin-motors AirWay. Those are EXTREMELY rare. I'm sure there's some way to fabricate a new knuckle coupler for the motor driven brush. It was probably some type of pot metal. Personally, I appreciate the AirWay uprights much more than the canisters, but I know everyone's tastes are different.

My pleasure

I still have more pics to share. To think... it was a week ago that I was there!
Thanks to so many for your kindness. I've gotten many notes, messages, etc.
I'm glad some of you appreciate all of it. There are others, well.... what can you say? There's no excuse for bad taste. or bad manners.

More celebrating Hoovers and The year of the staircase!

Hershel, It I knew someone really wanted that

other vacuum................

But, might have had trouble putting it in Tom's car !! :)

We had no idea we'd see that.  That's the thing about thrifting:  You NEVER know what you're gonna see.  How many times did we find a 'must have' item?

I was able to get 2 NIB Hoovers that day, (  dirt cheap).  THAT was fun.
