Just Received my Anniversary Windtunnel Canister yesterday!
I had ordered it from www.hoover.com on August 14 and
it took for ever to get the silly thing. This machine
is very quiet running and the powernozzle has been
redesigned and runs much quieter than previous
powernozzle. The price on the hoover webite was $314.99,
I paid $267.00 by using the hoover friends and family
15% discount coupon, these were passed out at Hoover Park
on during the 100th Birthday Party.

Another picture, one thing that was disappointing
about this machine is the Hoover Badge, it is a freaking washed out looking paper sticker!

Aniveersary Windtunnel

Rob,
That machine looks wonderful. Do you think the color was to match the Anniversary Convertible that has silver trim? I had heard from another vac collector that the canister is very quiet. It is too bad they didn't put one of those raised Hoover emblems like the Anniversay Windtunels. I have been looking for the canister in Indianapolis but no one seems to have it in stock. Give us an update after you have used the machines.
Rob from Indiana too!

Pete, you know I was just overexciting myself over Hoover Blue. As soon as I digested our prices my wits returned. :-)

Monday Micromeet in Sarnia? It's gonna be too overcast & windy for Dave's Dinghy. I'll call you Sunday night after the matinee.

Dave
