I was looking at Hoover’s website today and noticed the new Hoover Windtunnel Anniversary S670 canister vacuum. It’s a real eye catching vacuum I really like the sleek design of the canister. The sliver and black seems to go well together in my opinion. It would probably be a great performer as well with the Windtunnel technology built into the power head.

The onboard tools seem a little cheap to me with the combination dusting and upholstery tool . I’m afraid that the bristles on the dusting brush will be too stiff. Other than that I’m pretty impressed. If I didn’t have so many other vacuums; I would go ahead and purchase one. If anybody else in the club or on the forum happens to own one of these, let me know your impression.

Even though Hoover is no longer Hoover I hope that Anniversary canister turns out to be a great product if I decide to purchase one.

Those have actually been out for probably 2 years now. It looks like a very good vacuum to me, other than the rather rather short hose. There is a youtube video of one as well.

When I said new..

I was thinking about my Hoover Celebrity, which is my only Hoover Canister other than the portable. Still the Hoover Anniversary Windtunnel looks like a cool vacuum. The whole anniversary line up is pretty eye catching to me.

hey

if you want a real vacuum and not cheap go for a miele vacuum. mieles are much better then hoover anniversary bagged canister . just my input . what ever you buy good luck

I just used that Hoover today at the store. Is a nice vacuum. The power nozzle is absolutely ridiculous. The bristles are very stiff and the thing pulls itself. The hose and wands are very very well built and they machine isnt too loud.

I did also get to use fhe original lux oxygen. Similarly built but the two piece hose feels cheesy.

I've thought about the Lux Oxygen

I've thought about getting a Lux Oxygen in the past. It's a great suggestion. I really like the looks of the Hoover. It appears that the newer Hoovers do not have button lock wands are they fiction fit?

Anyway, just thought it was a cool looking vacuum.

They are button type locks. There is a tab you push to release wand from hose. The entire wand is telescopic and the pn comes off by a foot pedal.

The lux oxygen standard pn is quieter than the hoovers but not as powerful. Can't speak for the lux quiet clean nozzle
