And an Electrolux

As I stated in the Goblin Goblin Goblin thread, yesterday I recieved a shipment of Vacuums from Al in England. While most were Goblins there was also one Electrolux (the model 64) for my collection as well a great surprise.

So to begin with this is the Electrolux model 64, made from 1960 to 1965. Unlike the delux model 65 at the time, which featured dual action rug and dusting nozzles, the 64 still had 5 separate attachments (I believe it was pretty much the last English Electrolux to have the separate rug and floor nozzles as well as separate dusting and small nozzles)

And now the very BEST part of the shipment. For about 30 years I have been trying to complete my model ZC90 Electrolux. This was the first English Electrolux in my collection and has always been rather special to me. The biggest surprise when I unpacked the box was finding the Rug/Floor nozzle for my machine which Al had picked up, unknown to me. I was extatic!!! Now the machine is pretty much complete (I still need the little name plate and tool clip for the top but they are minor).

So, without further adue, presenting the Model ZC90 - complete at last.

While not part of the shipment I decided to also take a picture of my ZC100, which is also complete at the same time. (although the manual is a copy). The whitish coloration on the side of the machine is a trick of the light on the ribbed plastic which I cant seem to get rid of in pictures.

This is how I have the European Electrolux's displayed in my back hall. Love the idea of being able to hang them up. Wish ours had had that too.

I have left space for the machines I am missing so here you see the model 30 and model 55 with space for the model 48 (anyone have a spare? ) The accessory kits are just ones I have made on the Canadian patter so that the parts wouldnt be all over the place.

And the other half of the back hall.

In the picture are the models 64, 65, 90 and 100 with gaps left for the models 60, 62 and 80 (Again - anyone have a spare of any of these 3 machines?)

Displaying them like this keeps them in view but out of the way. Unfortunately, with the lights in the way, it isnt the most conductive to taking pictures.
