was an extremely popular seller for Eureka. A little workhorse.

This was mine in use back in 2007, AFAIK it's a later machine..
Didn't the early ones have the bag slide at the bottom of the bag?

Very nice Eureka Hans, all it needs is a little polishing! It's difficult to determine the age of the early Eurekas, the manufacturing plates didn't identify if they were a model 8, model 9, etc. Eureka made a suction-only cleaner into the early '30's. Yes, the very first Eurekas did have the bag slide on the bottom.
