Here is my latest aquisition. This is a Hoover Convertible U4095 which was a gift from Buffalo Joe. He brought it with him this weekend. So a big thank you to you Joe for this very nice machine. This one is from 1975-1977 and is one of the last ones with the metal base. It is a no frills model as it has the bottom fill bag, no headlight, short cord, and a one speed motor. This machine sports a twelve bladed fan made of plastic! It has the front type conversion for the tools. This one is in near mint condition and saw very little use. The only thing really that the original owner did was suck up lots of "Carpet Fresh" that was damp. This made the motor go bad and the brush roll freeze. At my house, parts for these machines are NO problem at all. This one cleaned up beautifully and is now part of my collection. Thanks Joe!
