Nice find, especially for the price. About a year ago My roommate, or whatever he is came home from one of his friends house that I cant stand, but I had to shut up my complaining for a little while, lol. His "friend" was cleaning out his shed and it was his dads house that he inherited about 12 years ago. Anyway, he brought me a rainbow Se with the PN2 power nozzle with the two hoses. It was very dusty, but I started wiping it down and this thing didnt have a scratch on it anyplace. No scuffs or anything. It still had the tag hanging off the handle on the canister. I asked more about it and he said his dad had been talked into buying it new in 1997. He paid cash for it, about $1500 he thought and it was too heavy for him because he was elderly and he just put it in the shed! So when Bills friend was cleaning out this shed, he said he didnt like canister vacuums and didnt know much about it so we could have it. Bill and I have lived together for 9 years so he knew exactly what it was, lol. Anyway, no attachments so I told him to go have another look in the shed when he could. I told him that some people out there tools in the power nozzle box if they dont use them, so I described both boxes, and didnt think any more about it. About a week later he comes in the door with this PE power nozzle box under his arm, and says "here". Well I open it up and here is avery attachment, the caddy, and the extra wands. Never used. Very exciting. While I dont consider a rainbow se vintage or anything I had really been wanting another one. I find the se easier to use than the E series. I took the top off the canister to have a look at the motor nd there wasnt even one single spec of dust in this thing. He honestly said he thought his dad used it two or three times but I didnt believe that at first. I mean after all, everybody says that. Well I guess he was right. To vacman117, even if you have the brushroll in that pn working good, get yourself one of the generic all bristle ball bearing brushrolls to out in it. You will be amazed at the difference, its almost like you had never vacuumed compared to the other one, and it really grabs the carpet. I had one in my NIB D3. I also got one for this pn2 and OMG, this thing is so much better on the carpet, it will almost pull itself out of your hand. Its almost feels like useing a convertible or an esp eureka, no kidding. It was cheap too. I actually thought the original pn2 brushrolls caeaned really deep, and they do, but not compared to this new all bristle generic one. Happy rainbowing
