BUSTED ALEX!!!

If I am not mistaking is this not a violation of the website rules to have more than one identity?

I noticed how quickly he modified his profile when you pointed it out.

Oh-Robert.

More on Headlights!!!

Thank you SeboFan for pointing that out!!!

I definitely thought he was a new member.  I don't mind entertaining the answers to anyones questions.  While I did find comments slightly insulting, it left more a curiosity, wanting to help feeling than an offended feeling.

Honestly I'd be happy if the market returned many machines from the 90's.  I'm not a fan of the bagless stuff that clogs off and requires maintenance every single usage.  I'm not a fan of the new combination tools.

KenKart-- I completely agree on headlight being standard equipment!!   I do house cleaning. Closets are dark, under the bed is dark and many of my clients don't seem to have enough light in certain rooms in general.  The headlights are very helpful in all of those respects!!  Or sometimes I'm not vacuuming the next full room but just its entry way while I do the hallway outside of it.  A headlight on the machine is plenty of light for those tasks.  Not all headlights are created equal either!!   A Hoover Futura canister hood has a brighter headlight than the PowerMax.  The Windtunnel power nozzle is ok.  Hoover Celebrity canister headlight is great!!  One of the Kenmores lights more of the ceiling but also does a fair job on the rug, the Riccar power nozzle headlight is good.  The best headlight I've seen and used is a Hoover Decade hood though!!!

Also check out how well the Nutone branded Eureka WorldVac nozzle lights up the rug!!

In defense of the headlight

As a person that has had visual problems my entire life.  The headlight on a vacuum will not illuminate the room, but it does help you detect a penny on the floor before you suck it up I the machine.

Same for other coins, as well as jewelry, smaller items that someone with normal vision may take for granted.

Also as pointed out hallways that are often not well lit, closets, behind the couch, under tables,  the list can go on.   If a consumer does not want this feature; there are a variety of machines on the market that don't have a headlight, or simply remove the bulb from the offending machine if you don't want it.

@Sebofan

Why would you bother going through the hassle of screenshotting and posting that? Yes yes, I know you're trying yo get your point across but seriously?

Alexhoovers, HooverLux, Sebofan,

I was banned from posting on automatic washer.org for much, much less of an offense.
I allowed someone toxic to get my goat. I should have simply ignored them.
I did not use vulgarity, profanity, nor was I condcescending.
He said I made no effort to get to know anyone, and I just popped up on there and think I am a know it all. He called me a troll. A third person added their two sense in his defense.
I told both they needed a mirror.
Seriously, it's just a free forum for our opinions and sharing knowledge, as well as comradery and having a nice time at it.

Haha, yes, it is Alex, I made a new account, I would of gotten away with it too, if it weren't for that meddling bag pipe!

Oh and despite everyone's assumptions, I genuinely wasn't insulting, this was a genuine question, I am sick of everyone hating me, so didn't want people to know it was me, on this account, but Nar saved the day (as usual) and twisted it his way, again, as usual!

Two very different markets with cleaners suited to both.

Vacuums in the US: Bigger for cleaning larger homes - wider cleaning path to make the floor cleaning quicker and bigger capacity for less frequent emptying.

Vacuums in the UK: smaller and more nimble for manuevering around smaller homes. Traditionally we have a real love for nick nacks, ornaments, lots of soft furnishings etc. So smaller vacuums were necessary.

In more recent years, vacuums have got a bit bigger here and we've had more vacs that are on sale in both countries as the clutter fashion has deceased in the UK.

In other news, that's another profile of Alex's I have to block. For the record, we've known it was you since day 1.

@sebo-fan

Right. I'm going to have to take Alex's side on this one.

I cant help but notice (not just on this post but on several previous ones) that you DO have a tendency to twist it around.

"I have yet to be issued with a warning." Well congrats.

"how many have you had?" I don't know and quite honestly l, I don't give a rats ass either.

"Perhaps the pair of you need to grow up and realize this isn't a playground." Oh? Well bugger me, I thought this was planet Irk we were on..
But on a serious,less sarcastic note. No, I do not need to grow up ad I am fully capable of seeing that this is not a playground.

@turbo500

I just feel like having my input on this, thus by taking Alex's side. Don't worry duck I'm not stressing out.

@everyone

Now before anyone decides to slip in "I'm entitled to my opinions" yes I know you're and so am I.

So have you read the actual topic that HooverLux actually created, Emma?

Couldn't the question have been tackled more delicately without insulting America given that this forum is based in America? One member felt initially that it was an insulting question, quickly followed by 4 members who also agreed?

Im not twisting anything, I'm stating fact.

Im not taking a warning from you - sorry but you're not the webmaster, pal.

Do you know what the problem is with the internet, especially social media? It gives arrogant people a huge sense of entitlement and makes people think their opinions actually matter.

But since we're sharing opinions, I think this entire thread is bloody ridiculous.

Want some advice? Keep your nose out of other people's drama's. Believe me, it makes your life much less stressful and way more relaxed.

Sebo, why do you always try and provoke me, there is never an argument until you join in, I would say you were just as bad.

Actually, I wasn't calming to be someone else, hence the same date of birth and the same email, I even put "A." to sign off my messages! Don't tell me I was impersonating someone else.

But then you went and changed your profile. Why would anyone want to join this forum AGAIN, show their email address on their profile and then choose to hide it again? What I don't understand is that you had enough time to actually admit who you were when you came back to this forum the second time.

Clearly if you were grown up enough and frankly open enough to post questions or answer threads, people might actually want to know who you are? After all you have a great video channel on You Tube - seems a shame to throw that all away when you are trying to pose as a new member when in actual fact you aren't.

By the way Im not twisting anything, I'm just stating fact. AGAIN.

As for, "Am I provoking you?" Um no. I still have a copy of the message you sent me on here.

It admits to YOU trying to provoke certain members.

@sebofan

Yes I have otherwise I wouldn't be posting my opinions,thoughts etc etc.

I honestly don't see anywhere where in there that could of caused offense. From my eyes it was just a genuine question asked. Maybe the people who got "offended" should try and grow some thicker skin.

"I'm not taking warning from you" what warning? I never gave a warning. If anything its YOU who's trying to "warn" me.

"pal" really? Could you come up with a worser "insult" than that?

"Sebo, why do you always try and provoke me, there is never an argument until you join in, I would say you were just as bad."

In no way at all were you provoked, you were banned for a reason and you refused to take responsibility for your wrongful actions so Nar had every right to inform everyone that you were present under a different name.

Why complain about being hated and continue to do what you are hated for? Does the message ever sink in?
