If that's your finished product, then congratulations are in order. You did an excellent job. Seriously, it's not easy to get the paint off of one of those.

I set out to do that to one of mine a couple of years ago but I eventually up and repainted it with Rust-Oleum hammer tone metallic paint and primer in one. The 'black' color is actually sort of a gunmetal gray, a little darker than the original Silverado gray but very acceptable. There's also a bronze color that should look pretty nice for an Olympia brown nozzle. The textured finish makes it absolutely the most forgiving spray paint I've ever used. Just for good measure, I masked off the raised nameplate area, which was the only part I had managed to put any degree of shine on. The end result was very pleasing, although far from what I had originally intended. It's a subtle custom that could almost pass for original in that it looks like something that Electrolux might have (and perhaps should have) done.

Thanks. The photo really doesn't do it justice. It was a fun afternoon project to cap off about three days of sanding. Even if I didn't manage to get all the paint off of it, I did end up with some really good surface prep, which is the secret to any good paint job.
