So I measured airflow behavior of the two bagged vacuums Nilfisk GM80 (mid 90's) and Philips P74 Electronic (mid 80's) + bagless Dyson DC40.
In my bagged vacuums test I also tested the loss of airflow when the bag was almost full so I could see the amount what they lost cfm.
With the Dyson I measured it like it was, then with using just a empty bin without the small cyclones and straight from the motor.
Pictures speak more than thousand words.

bags

Yes I can still get those bags. They are called Amsterdam. I can also retrofit hepa/fleece bags for it. You can see the gray pipe fitted to the bag door.

Great Video Mike, But I Have A Question

You have two pictures of your Nilfisk pulling a "Baird" 10, which is 110 CFM. BUT, in one pic, you have stated 123 CFM and another 115 CFM. Did you purchase some other anemometer to measure past 110 CFM? Anyway, here's the Baird CFM chart again for reference.

Keep those videos coming!

Bill

Sorry

Oops my mistake. I don't know why I put 123 cfm in the video, but right is obviously 110 cfm.
So Nilfisk pulled 10 (110 cfm) with the empty and half full bag.

Mike
