I remember watching “The Real McCoys” as a little boy in the early 1960’s, but I don’t remember seeing this episide with a vacuum cleaner. Thanks for posting this!

I do remember being drawn to watch the series by handsome Richard Crenna…what an attractive guy…..🙂

Thanks for posting Charles. I just finished watching it....man, what a funny episode! The Real McCoys is actually one of my favorite old shows.

Brian - Geez, look at you, you were already manwatching even as a little boy! :-)

Oh, this was hilarious!

I loved The Real McCoys when I was a kid. I don't remember this episode though, and I had forgotten how funny this series is. Walter Brennan was a gem. In the movie Support Your Local Sheriff, he steals every scene he's in.

Interesting too, that the neighbor George McMicheal is played by Andy Clyde, who was a famous actor whose career began in silent films, and the "junk man" is played by Howard Neer (spelling?), who played Floyd the barber in the Andy Griffeth Show!

Wonder if that very Air Way still survives today? At least we know it evaded the metal scrap drives of World War II. It could have been a great advertisement for the longevity of an Air-Way. To me, the uprights are so much more interesting than the canisters that followed. Wonder if disposable bags were even still available for the uprights in 1958 when this episode was filmed?
