I recently purchased a Guardian Angel purifier from my sales rep, and I heard nothing about the vacuums being discontinued. I think it's a website change only, not a warning of doom for the brand, especially since the vacuum site is running.
The "Beyond Aerus" website has been in existence for some time as it's copyrighted in 2019. I stumbled upon it accidentally when I was looking at the Angel purifier, which is on both the "Aerus Vacuums" site and the "Beyond Aerus" site. Strangely, the Air Platinum is on the vacuum site only, and the Beyond Air Platinum, with a different model number, is on the Beyond site only, but the Angel is on both sites with the same model number.
A few weeks ago when I was purchasing the purifier, I noticed that the standard "Aerus Home" website was having problems loading its default address. And even today, when I was on the Beyond site, it produced an error message.
It's all conjecture, but I'm guessing that there are some changes happening to the websites, and during a pandemic when people aren't apt to spend thousands on a vacuum, it probably isn't a rush to finalize the site changes. It might even make sense, as one of you said, for visitors to be funneled to the Beyond site during the pandemic since that site lists more purification devices and "NASA" technologies, which don't really apply to vacuums but do apply to virus-killing air purifiers.
Hopefully sooner or later, the Aerus Home page displays two choices... Vacuums or Beyond Aerus for everything else. I really don't see the need to split the products, but the "Home" page really needs to make the choice between the two clear, or there needs to be a better, more obvious way to switch from vacuums to Beyond and Beyond to vacuums.
