Aerus Vacuums with Plastic Wands

Hello. Does anyone know when Aerus began providing plastic wands for their vacuums in lieu of the traditional metal ones? Thanks.

Beginning with the Electrolux 6500 SR. The first 6000 had the metal wands. Early 90's. You can look at the model chart to be sure.
