Hello guys.

Well, today I have something slightly different to show you! Yes, it is an electronic typewriter.

I found it on Freecycle and picked it up today.

It is in absolutely MINT condition (not a mark on it) with the original cover, foam pads, instruction manual and THREE spare ribbons (plus one fitted).

I plugged it in when I got home and after getting used to it, I typed up a three page letter and it works flawlessly.

I know this is a long shot - but maybe some UK members here have some information on this model? I don't even know what decade it is from - I'm thinking 1990s but it could be older.

i know

nothing about typewriters but i have to agree why would someone discard that i bet it cost quite a bit of money when it was new
 
I know - it looks like it would have been the TOL model for AEG when it was made.

I can only assume the person had no further use for it as they had switched to a computer for word processing.

Oh well, their loss - my gain!
