A Western Auto Hoover & a Hoover Hoover

These were in an estate sale basement where they got more dust on them than in them.With two hoses and no attachments.Even though I can look one block to the former WA store this is only the second WA I have found.Hope to wipe off layers of dust this week.

The sale was mostly about books for my book store but then these were crying to be rescued from the basement.They can be available starting today but I thought I would start the clean up and possibly find missing attachments.The Western Auto might be a good companion for my Montgomery Ward Portapower.

Another Hoover rescue--

--at another estate sale.As I am going through boxes of books hoping for a few good ones I see Hoover J bags beside bagless Bissells and then a possible aluminum wand in the garage behind furniture and then a dusty Hoover.Pictures soon.

Western Auto --

--runs well, good suction, no bag, switch won't turn off,cord & plug good but dirty, colors have darkened.

Yes, I’d say that’s about the last Portable, given the plastic hose end like Spirit, Dimension, Sprint, or etc and the later boxy floor/rug attachment.
